Our Vision and Primary goal
Empowering Change Agents in Regenerative Tourism The SEEDS & SKILLS project aims to breathe new life into the social and ecological environments of tourism destinations. We achieve this by providing tailored learning opportunities for VET and Higher Education students and teachers, as well as tourism businesses and key stakeholders. Our primary goal is to equip these change agents with practical skills in regenerative tourism that perfectly align with current labor market needs, empowering them to drive real, meaningful change in their communities.
The Challenge vs. The Solution
🗺️ Tourism in Europe faces critical challenges: extreme seasonality, overtourism in iconic destinations, and the deep environmental vulnerability of our coastal and island ecosystems. 'Doing less harm' is no longer enough.
☀️ We are shifting the paradigm towards Regenerative Tourism. Our mission is to actively restore and enhance the social and ecological systems in which tourism businesses operate, leaving destinations better than we found them.
