ABOUT SEEDS & SKILLS
SEEDS & SKILLS – Nurturing Skills to Heal Tourism Places is a 2-year Erasmus+ project (December 2025 – November 2027) funded under the KA220-VET action. The project brings together 6 partners from Poland, Spain, Austria, Italy and Greece with a shared vision:
Tourism can do more than minimize harm. It can actively restore ecosystems, strengthen communities and preserve cultures. This is what we call Regenerative Tourism.
We are proud to announce that our first project deliverable has been completed! D2.1 - Regenerative Tourism Case Studies is a comprehensive research document developed collaboratively by all partners, documenting realworld examples of regenerative tourism from across Europe.
"Regenerative tourism is no longer just a theoretical concept, it is a growing field of practice across Europe, from small family farms in Austria to entire island transformations in Greece."
WE HAVE OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED - KICK-OFF MEETING IN ŁÓDŹ, POLAND
In January 2026, the SEEDS & SKILLS consortium held its first Transnational Partner Meeting in Łódź, Poland, hosted by the project coordinator FRAME. Representatives from all 6 partner organisations across Poland, Spain, Austria, Italy and Greece gathered, both in-person and online, to align on goals, assign responsibilities and set the project in motion. Key topics discussed included the project work plan, communication tools, quality management framework and the launch of our dissemination strategy.

🌱 DID YOU KNOW?
Tourism currently accounts for approximately 8% of global greenhouse gas emissions. Regenerative tourism doesn't just minimize this impact, it actively works to reverse it by restoring ecosystems, empowering communities and creating positive net impact. This is exactly why SEEDS & SKILLS exists.
